Do you allow pets?
Yes, we do welcome pets!
We have two dog-friendly rooms available, subject to availability. Please contact us directly to confirm before making a booking. A nightly charge of £30.00 per dog applies for pet stays.
Do you have hair dryers?
Yes all of our rooms have a hairdryer. They can be found in the wardrobes of the rooms.
Do I need to book a table in advance if I’m a resident?
Yes, we recommend booking a table in advance to ensure availability, as our restaurant can get particularly busy, especially at weekends.
Do you offer early check-ins?
While we’re unable to guarantee an early check-in, we always do our best to accommodate requests where possible. From 12pm, you’re welcome to collect your room key and be shown to your room to leave your luggage. Please note that full access to the room is available from 2pm, our standard check-in time. If you’d like to freshen up or get changed before then, toilet facilities are available in our restaurant.
Do you offer any extras for special occasions?
If you’d like to make your stay extra special, we’d be delighted to help. You can pre-order a bottle of fizz or select something from our wine list, which is available on our website. Please feel free to call us in advance to arrange any special touches for your stay.
Do you allow children?
Yes, we do. Our twin rooms, located on the ground floor, can comfortably accommodate up to two adults and two children. The room features two small double beds.
Do you have travel cots?
Yes, we do have a travel cot available upon request. Please note that cots can only be accommodated in our Standard Double, Twin, Suite, or Cottage Suite rooms, and are not available in the Double Room category.
Do you offer late check-out?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to confirm late check-out in advance. However, if you’d like to request one, please speak to our team when you arrive, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs, subject to availability.
Do your rates include breakfast?
Yes. All of our room rates include breakfast. Breakfast is served between 7:30am – 9:30am form Monday – Friday, and on Saturday & Sunday from 8am – 9:30am.
Do you offer extra breakfasts for guests?
Breakfast is reserved for our residents; however, if you have friends or family who would like to join you, please contact us directly in advance — we’ll be happy to advise on availability and options.
Do you have on site parking?
Ample parking is available for guests at The Stump.
Which rooms are on ground floor?
Most of our rooms are located on the ground floor, including our Standard Doubles, Twin, Suite, and one of our Cottage Suites. Please note that the Double Room is situated on the first floor.
Which rooms have walk-in showers?
Most of our rooms feature a shower over a bath. Our Cottage Suites, however, offer both a walk-in shower and a freestanding roll-top bath for added comfort.
Do you have EV charging points?
Sadly, we don’t currently offer electric vehicle charging facilities at The Stump. However, there are several public chargers in the Cirencester area.
Do you have fridges in the rooms?
Sadly we do not have fridges in any of our rooms at the stump
Do you have an wheelchair accessible rooms?
Sadly, we do not have any designated rooms for wheelchair access.
Can I pay only the deposit upon booking?
We offer a Standard Rate that requires only a 25% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due upon arrival.
To find this rate when booking online, simply search for your preferred dates. The Advanced Purchase Rate will appear first, but by selecting “More Rates”, you’ll also see the Standard Rate option.
Do you offer a New Year’s Eve package?
Our rooms are now available to reserve for this year’s New Year’s Eve. Room rates include bed and breakfast.

Do you have a cancellations list?
If your preferred dates are unavailable, please reply to this message with your name, email address, and desired dates of stay. We’ll be happy to add you to our cancellation list.
